Kylotonn says that Rally Japan will feature narrow asphalt roads, aggressive corners, and a lush environment, which affects players’ visibility. These locations also host this season’s real-life WRC finale in November.
The stage pits players against the sharp mountain climbs and dense forests of Japan, in the Aichi and Gifu districts. Rally Japan as an event has been absent since 2011. It’s not just iterative changes though, as WRC is getting some brand new rally stages for its ninth entry, including the return of Rally Japan. Developer Kylotonn has gradually improved the handling physics, performance, and visuals over the years. WRC 9 is set to launch in 2020, and the series has steadily increased in quality over time.
